At Flexiroom, we believe that our residents are the best people to talk to about our colivings. That’s why we asked Viktoria, a 27-year-old Ukrainian who has been living in the Wallis residence in Luxembourg since July 2021, to share her experience with us.
Why did you choose to share a flat?
“For someone living alone in another country, like me, it was essential to find a home in Luxembourg where several important factors would be combined . First of all, finding a community, being surrounded by people, so you can communicate, find new friends, and share experiences. And when you come alone to a new country, you want to find accommodation with good management, to ensure your stay is comfortable.”
Why did you choose Flexiroom coliving?
“I chose Flexiroom because there are so many advantages. First of all, the coliving where I am has an excellent location with a well-developed infrastructure, many supermarkets nearby, close to the city center. It’s convenient for getting to all parts of the city. The residence is comfortable and the rooms are well appointed, so you feel very comfortable. The people who run Flexiroom are a great team, they’re very responsive to all requests and always ready to help.”
What’s the biggest advantage of Flexiroom?
“I’d say there are a lot of advantages. First of all, the organization of the cohabitation: you have a well-designed and equipped private room, with your own bathroom. Each room has its own WI-FI point, which works extremely well. So if you do a lot of work from home, you don’t need to worry about Internet connection. The kitchen is very well equipped, with your own fridge, which is another important thing for your privacy. Coliving is a nice place where you can communicate with people, but at the same time everyone respects each other’s privacy. In terms of cleanliness, the common rooms are very well cleaned twice a week.”
What would you say to people interested in joining the Flexiroom community?
“I would definitely recommend choosing coliving, especially if you’re new to the city.”
What’s your best memory of the Flexiroom residence?
“The team’s attention to co-habitants. For every holiday like Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, the common room was extremely well decorated and contained very nice gifts for all of us. It was so nice! What’s more, it’s very easy to communicate with the team members, they’re so helpful and kind.”
What do you like best about Flexiroom?
“What I liked most was the atmosphere, the organization, the little details in the room, the kitchen equipped with everything you need. Life in a shared apartment is a balance between privacy and community, which is what you need when you move to a new city.”
Any last words?
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to the team for the comfortable stay here, for their attention and responsiveness to all requests. Keep up the good work!”
