1. Epicure
Located in a charming old building next to the Saint Jean-Baptiste church and Place du Vieux, Epicure invites you to brunch every Saturday. Established since 2016, Maryna and Louis welcome you with warmth and professionalism. The all-you-can-eat savoury/sweet brunch is made with local, quality produce cooked with talent. Savoury quiches, tortillas, soups, salads, carrot cakes and tiramisu, among others, will delight you. Gault&Millau has spotted them and included them in their POP selection of affordable, trendy restaurants.

2. The house of desserts
La Maison des Desserts is a beautiful seventeenth-century house in Old Namur. It’s also a reference when it comes to patisserie, chocolate and pralines. But it’s also a tea room with a pleasant terrace and private lounge. Every morning, they offer a breakfast that doubles up as a brunch, as their menu includes delicious pastries and savouries. And if you feel like celebrating a special occasion or just for the fun of it, they offer a formula with bubbles!

3. Coffee & More
Tired of coffee chains beginning with an S? Come and try Coffee & More, located a stone’s throw from the Théâtre de Namur. You’ll find delicious coffees and hot chocolates, as well as homemade soups changed daily, sandwiches, pancakes, foccacia, brownies… The menu changes with the seasons. Let yourself be tempted by the kinder bueno coffee! The room is warm and cozy, and the books and games on offer make you feel right at home. The only drawback, which is a good sign, is that it’s often fully booked! Closed on Sundays.

4. Bistro Bisou
Opened in 2019, Bistro Bisou offers simple, tasty home-cooked cuisine using local produce: Delhaut, Maître Corbeau… Granola bowls, Pancakes, eggs Benedict, avocado toast, toast, French toast, you’ll find all the “trendy” small dishes here. They offer vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free options. Young, friendly atmosphere. Sunday brunch from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.

5. La Cafète
La Cafète is now located in the Empreinte belge boutique on rue des Carmes. The owner calls herself a “furniture and sandwich upholsterer”. In fact, La Cafète is a furniture upholstery workshop, a boutique selling vintage furniture and a restaurant. A true place for sharing and exchange. The Saturday brunch includes salads, spreads, falafels and homemade desserts, all cooked with delicacy and harmony. Your palate will thank you.bottom of form
