Another year has come to an end, and like every new year, we’re all making an exhaustive list of good resolutions. And once again, we won’t miss a beat!
It’s true that this is the best time to start new projects, since the counters are reset to zero and we always promise ourselves that this year will be better than the last.
We give you our 5 ideas for good resolutions to start this new chapter, entitled 2023.
1. Stop addictions
This is obviously the first point, and not the least. A new year cannot begin without the famous ” I’m going to stop smoking “. Addictions abound, and some of the best-known are: cigarettes, alcohol, sugar and, for those of us who spend a lot, shopping. In fact, the year begins with “January dry”, which means going without alcohol for the whole month of January.
2. Play sports
For some people, sport is a religion, or even an addiction. For others, on the other hand, it’s more difficult to get started, and can require a certain amount of motivation. Sometimes it’s just a matter of finding the sport that suits you best, so that it becomes a pleasure rather than an obligation. Who hasn’t signed up for a gym membership only to go a few times and pay for nothing? But this year, it’s time to make a change and discover a new passion.
3. Taking care of yourself
How important it is to take time out for ourselves, especially in this fast-paced, 150-an-hour life we so often neglect. And yet, to be in good health, we also need time for ourselves. There are many ways to take care of yourself. Obviously, there are facials and body treatments, but also reading a book, painting, doing an activity, meditating and so on. In short, anything that’s likely to do us good.
4. Realize a project
To get the year off to a good start, it might be a good idea to set yourself new goals, such as completing a new project. There’s something for everyone. It could be the year of a career change or retraining, a real estate project involving the purchase of an apartment or house, or a travel project for the more adventurous. This enables you to achieve a concrete objective and establish a plan for success.
5. Going green
We can’t say it often enough: ecology is in the air right now. Everyone can help save the planet in their own way and at their own level. You’ll find plenty of articles on the subject in our blog. Eco-responsible living involves transportation, housing, shopping and home maintenance. It’s time to get started and adopt a new routine.
There are plenty of other good resolutions to be made each new year, but the key is to find what suits us best and motivates us to enjoy this new chapter. The idea is to challenge and surpass ourselves to satisfy ourselves, but above all to accomplish new challenges that are even more exciting than the previous ones. Of course, we advise you to make the most of every moment, because time flies.
