Moving into a new home is often a significant milestone.
At Flexiroom, we have chosen to tell these stories through the people who experience them.
Discover the daily life of Lucie, a resident of the Wallis residence since November 2025.
Why did you choose to share a flat?
I chose to live in shared accommodation to make my arrival in a new city easier. Above all, I wanted to avoid the lengthy and stressful process of finding traditional accommodation.
There is also clearly the social aspect. In shared accommodation, it is easier to meet people; it is much simpler than in individual accommodation, where forming social connections can be more difficult.
Why choose Flexiroom over other shared accommodation in Luxembourg?
I chose Flexiroom because the offer is simple, clear and well explained.
The photos matched reality and the feedback from residents was reassuring.
Flexiroom offers turnkey accommodation where everything is included, which really helped me settle in quickly.
How would you describe the residence and the room you live in?
The residence is pleasant and well designed. You regularly bump into other residents in the communal areas such as the kitchen or lounge, which creates a friendly atmosphere.
The room allows you to have your own personal space while still enjoying the communal areas. For me, Flexiroom is clearly a step above traditional shared accommodation, particularly thanks to the organisation and services included.
Which services have been particularly useful to you since your arrival?
The services included are very useful on a daily basis. The fact that the accommodation is fully equipped makes settling in much easier. The initial supplies provided are also handy when you arrive.
The team’s responsiveness is also a positive point. When there is a problem, for example with equipment such as shutters, the team tries to intervene quickly and find a solution.
How is living with the other residents?
The cohabitation is going well. Interactions are natural and mainly take place in the common areas. Some residents are already spontaneously suggesting times to spend together, which is very nice.
The idea of having more organised events, such as parties or other gatherings, has been well received. This helps to further strengthen the sense of community within the residence.
How would you rate your communication with the Flexiroom team?
Communication with the team is generally very good. It is easy to contact them and get a quick response, regardless of where they are located.
I have already needed support, and it went well. The team’s responsiveness and availability are reassuring and contribute to a peaceful experience.
Finally, what would you say to someone who is hesitant about joining the residence?
I’ll tell him to come and join us! Flexiroom really simplifies the arrival process. Everything is already in place, which allows you to focus on other things besides the formalities associated with accommodation.
It is a reassuring and comfortable solution, especially when arriving in a new city or country.
