Summer is off to a strong start in the Grand Duchy. From June 12 to 14, 2026, the Francofolies set up their stage at the Gaalgebierg Park in Esch-sur-Alzette. Three days of music, an international poster and an atmosphere that every student, active young person or newcomer to Luxembourg should experience at least once. This 2026 edition sees things big. On the program of the Gaalgebierg Park: Macklemore, Gims, PLK, Feu! Chatterton, Helena, Niska, Christophe Maé, Mosimann, Fatal Bazooka or even La Mano 1.9. Something to make everyone’s taste vibrate, from French rap to pop songs and electro.
The festival even overflows its main venue with a “Hors des murs” program: Terrenoire accompanied by the Orchestra of the Esch-sur-Alzette Conservatory at the Escher Theater, and a Dubfabrik evening at the Kulturfabrik. In total, more than 40 artists and nearly 40,000 festival-goers are expected over three days, in an event designed with respect for the environment and sustainable development.
On the budget side, good news for students: passes start at €59 for 1 day. It’s hard to find such dense programming at this price elsewhere in Europe.

One of the big assets of Francofolies is their location. The festival is located in the heart of Europe, in the region of the three borders: a few minutes from France, very close to Belgium, and only about twenty minutes from Luxembourg-city.
